Seemed to be a little too westerly in the end with stream showers focussing mainly on the coast and dividing range but lighter inland. Some reasonable accumulations in S Gippsland as well.
All the focus shifts to the warming trend of this week where temps could increase to 25C across the state. Some rain developing over the weekend is possible.

Great to see this forum up and running. 3mm in total for here from the system (Mount Macedon 520m asl) mostly thanks to proximity to the ranges but never going to get much here in a straight westerly stream. Warm weather ahead will certainly be nice in the short term but just what we don't need in the long term unless it increases convection potential with the approach of the LWT late week into the weekend.
At least we are not drying out, plenty of moisture set to advect down here from that NW cloud band.

To answer the question that I missed yesterday - there does appear to be rain developing from the north and west gradually by the end of the weekend. This should increase through next week as we go more colder WSW.
EC wants to throw a low pressure system into the mix but it is a long way off still.
