Trip to Lake Eildon - July'09

The family enjoyed a weekend away at Lake Eildon a fortnight ago. It was the first time since Black Saturday that I had driven through the spur. It was remarkable on many counts, mainly the sheer carnage that was still evident, but also the amazing re-growth.

Certainly still very sobering even with the regrowth. It must be a real shock to the system to see it tho. Thanks so much for sharing Sniper

Thanks for sharing the pics. I still haven't been up there, but we're going to be up at Eildon for Christmas again (if not before) so I'll be seeing it for myself soon enough. Sheez, the pondage is low
