Victorian Surfing Forecasts/Conditions.
Looking like a drop in swell conditions this weekend but with balmy temps and offshore NNE winds shifting more NNW on Sunday the weekend is looking great for a bit of a paddle.
Phillip Island should see swell nearer 3-4ft with NNW winds of 20-25 knots increasing Sunday (possibly 35 knots) so some cleaner conditions than the last few days with W winds near storm force. Express may be a good pick and any of the southeast and southern facing beaches.
Swell should increase dramatically next week if a surface low in Bight waters ends up moving closer to the Bass Strait region.

Yeah it has been a little foul of recent days, the next couple of days will be poor across the Surf Coast in ESE winds and small swells.
Looking a little better in about 5 days time, with a little more swell and strengthening NW winds by the weekend.
Do you get out on a board or stand up FS?

Shortboard! I can never do shortboard. It must be because I am 6ft1000!! Alas I will learn one day.
I am heading down to EP at Phillip Island coming into Mid July so lets hope the conditions improve then too.
Where do you usually carve the waves up?

I need to move as I am extreeeeeeeeeeeeemely jealous of the lifestyle you have!!!!
Good to hear that someone is making the most of the conditions with variable winds (although would have been mostly onshore down your way today) and modest swell. Things will clean up a bit further tomorrow with N winds developing then easing later.
I am one of those people who crowd Torq. Sorry about that

I know!!! We are quickly becoming NSW in winter and they are having bigger swells now in winter!! Merimbula looks like a nice place too live or maybe Ulladulla (Mollymook )
Sigh... well hopefully the westerly belt can get it's act together!!

Its a great part of the world up there was there earlier in the year they have plenty of amazing uncrowded waves with chilled out locals! Love heading up there any chance i get!
As for here another day of unsurfable here! But a day off work allowed me to head south to find some perfect hollow uncrowded 4foot barrels great day had

Drool!!!!!!
Well that sounds like an awesome day off!!! Haven't got that sort of opportunity so im glad someone has!!!!!
Westerly belt and a small low late week could bring the swell up but turn it into an onshore windswept washing machine.

Looks like the current guideance is suggesting some fabulous surfing conditions with a westerly swell, frequent fronts, and NW/W winds over the period. Could see some fantastic conditions over southern beaches.
