Bad luck last night Karl. The Dogs were just to polished, despite the windy conditions. Great experience for the youngsters. Get Charman and/or Leuenberger back, this will free Mitch Clark to ruck and float up forward or down back. He did a mighty job for your club!!!

So it's down to two, Geelong and St Kilda. It is fitting that the two best teams of 2009 do battle in that one day in September.

We all know by now that mother nature will not be providing us with a fine, 25 degree day. It is going to tough, hard, uncomprimising, which is what we want our game to be.

So who is your tip? I am sure that many of you are like me, head says Geelong, heart say St Kilda. Both teams come into the game with plenty of pressure and expectations. Geelong, the best team for a good 3 years now, but only 1 premiership to show. Will they make it 2 or will it be St. Kilda, trying to double their tally of premiership wins.

Ok, I will get off the fence. Geelong to win by 17 points. If the rain/wind/hail etc arrives, Geelong will thrive on it. Bartel to win the Norm Smith Medal.
