6mm here so far and lighter rain presently but should increase again soon.

Should get about 10-15mm throughout.

Nearly 40mm at Horsham with thunderstorms and convergent rainfall over the region delivering about 10-20mm in the last hour.

This should translate east.

12.8mm so far since it started at 6.30pm, max rain rate 21mm/hr, pressure now 997.9, was 1003.6 1.5 hours ago!!!!!

Yep about 14mm in the half hour to 10pm! I wish I could see it on the radar

ILS the cells will come into frame soon on Melbourne 256km. Raining moderately here. 7.4mm and nice to see it set in again ahead of heavier rainfall after midnight.

Well for some reason there is 27mm in the gauge Shocked

, this means that we have either had a lot more rain than I thought - or I forgot to empty it after the last 14mm event Embarassed

....either way not a bad result here.

Not over for Ballarat - would suggest 25-30mm possible.

Yep I think it will precede the instability following it...hopefully we get some good storms in the early hours of tomorrow.

Well I have had my best single rain for the year! Just braved it and the gauge has about 23 mm in it!!! Had some lightning go through within the last hour, but now easing off before a little bit more to follow.

It has been great moderate to heavy rain, has lasted since 8.45 now so nearly 3 hours worth. I only expected half this, so what is in store for the rest of the week then?

Hope it keeps raining, even the desert to the north of Geelong has a decent drop. Very Happy

Just had one clap of thunder here in Elwood followed by instantaneous massively heavy downpour lasting for 10mins. Definately not over yet for Melbourne with another period of moderate rain incoming.
