I see BOM agree with my forecast now for today with 19c when orginally they had 23c 2 days ago and even til yesterday they had 21c and 20c last night and pushed it down to 19c this morning. 19c in the city seems lodgical given the setup.

Hey Watto!

I'm not John, but I would say that John is thinking seabreezes will have a major effect on the temperatures during the days indicated, which is why his temps are not as high as the BoM's who are obviously considering the seabreezes to not have such an effect. But the bay is cooler atm, so seabreezes will be fairly cool if they come in early enough to affect temps.

Is that right John?? Sorry to intrude on the answer mate...

. John can still answer, but I was just trying to see if I was right re seabreezes, cause I am also wondering why his temps are lower than BoM...

no worries. First of all like to say good to see you join up Watto glad you got my link mate... And yes I think be cool to mild until at least Wedneday with SE winds and seabreezes until that day at least at this moment not sure how BOM have SW to SE winds for this time of the year all day and have temps of 24, 27c forecasted etc etc doesn't make sense to me.. Thats almost a February forecast with a warm bay that type of set up not late October when the bay is at least 8c cooler than February. So Norfolk/Tony and Jake/Powerstorm are on the mark.

Well EC has done a complete flip now, originally had an ok looking front or trough coming through Friday night from the west (still does but a lot weaker now), which would have eased temps a bit, but now it seems a high pressure ridge pushes back in with the hot winds continuing on the weekend... will be interesting nonetheless.
