Best of luck Karl
Stawell cell is also severe! Storms on the approach from the NW here. Getting excited again for round 2.

S*** that line near Stawell must be an absolute monster, I hope people are okay out there, and I am being serious. Stuff doesn't normally show up out there, let alone black.

Just a note, that Stawell storm is moving at roughly 140 kph, about 28km in 12 minutes going by the last 2 frames!
Maybe a tad less, but it is easily going over 100kph by the look of the radar.

If you've got a flash to the E, I'd go to bed and dream about the next storm.....
still calm and clear out this way.

Can see CCs to the NW.
Also of quite noteable development is the large area of AccAs going up over Melbourne and large CBs as well. These will likely form over Melbourne Metro or over the bay, particularly south.
Looking good for a decent drink!!!
Storms behind look good.
All going to plan!!!

These north easterlies do wonders for us, I think they should come and visit more often.

reckon any chance melb cbd or inner north suburbs (where I am) karl? Looks great to the west, can see some good flashes.
Would be happy if it touches through and get 5mm or so. Does have that threatening feel outside. Time will tell.

It is the storms behind too that you have to watch CO. Though 5mm looks a good bet. As the storms roll off the ranges into the Melbourne Basin it could be interesting as they ark up as they roll down into lower terrain.
Fingers crossed.

Light rain, got a few bright flashes before and rumbles but stopped now. Watching the stuff further to the NW but not behaving itself atm, very patchy.

It seriously doesn't look like it will push much further east. Rain totals looking negligible atm.

Re: Follow up rain-storms Nov 26-29th.
Got visible lightning to my NW still. 2nd band is nearly here and this time should go right over head.
That Stawell cell still looking great and the band thats about to go over me (connected to Stawell cell) is getting heavier by the looks.

Re: Follow up rain-storms Nov 26-29th.
They will be bigger totals south and west of you Andrew, you help lift the clouds up for us.
Nasty looking storm to the west of the band too.
And on a forecasting note, watch the sat pic and how that cold air moving through Adelaide and E SA interacts tomorrow with the humidity and a bit of heating.
Should be showers and storms over the south and west of the state off and on through the night with the odd big cell.
